Laser
The artist’s canvas begins as a blank surface upon which an artistic interpretation comes into being. In this spirit illa introduces the “Canvas” clutch that, through the interpretation of artist Manuel Pablo Pace, has become the “Laser” Collection.
Manuel Pablo Pace is a young artist who lives in Bassano del Grappa and exhibits his works in several art galleries both in Italy and abroad. For the Laser Collection his interpretation has taken the form of two patterns in which the hourglass, an age-old instrument for measuring the passage of time, becomes the symbol of the present moment while also a stylization of the feminine silhouette. Manuel’s interpretations of the hourglass are laser printed onto the “Canvas” clutch by a master craftsman from Vicenza. This artisan has been cooperating for more than thirty years with the most distinguished gold firms in the laser processing of metals, as well as with innovative laser technologies for leather.
